Description
The cooling method in an engine has five components: the radiator, the radiator cap, the hoses, the thermostat and the water pump. The water pump is also the only actual moving part in the cooling program. So it's the most likely component to wear, causing noises or leaks in the system. When the car is turned on, the water pump circulates coolant from the inverter to the radiator.
If the timing belt runs your old water pump, also replace the timing belt, idler and tensioner, if it is two or far more years old also, if you are replacing the water pump since it was leaking, replace the timing belt even if it is been in service less than a year. You will save time and money in vehicle service costs and, possibly, middle of the road breakdowns—and engine harm on some engine applications.
